The Department of Water (DOW) has announced a water service shutdown on Kopa’a Street, Hale Lio Street, Ou Street and a portion of Pueo Road, from Kopa’a Street to Kekaha Road in Kekaha, on Wednesday, May 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting.

The water service shutdown is necessary in order to allow DOW to install a main line valve in the area. This valve installation is one of three installations that will be scheduled for this service area.

Customers located in the affected service area are advised to prepare for the service shutdown by taking the following steps:

·         Store water to meet your needs until water service can be restored.
