Portion of Rice Street Shut Down After Water Main Break

DOW reported the break this morning between Kalena and Ho’olako Streets.The Department of Water (DOW) announces an emergency water service shutdown on a portion of Rice Street to conduct repairs to a mainline break.

DOW reported the break this morning between Kalena and Ho’olako Streets. The area is anticipated to be closed for approximately four to five hours.

Additionally, a partial lane closure on Rice Street, near the Kalapaki Villas complex will be in place to create a safe work zone for repairs. Motorists traveling east on Rice Street near the work zone will be directed to merge onto one lane.
