Lane closures scheduled for Portions of Wailua, Kapa‘a

The Department of Public Works announces that portions Kapa‘a will be closed next week to allow Maui Kupono Builders to conduct road resurfacing work on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Road work is scheduled for the following areas:

-ʻŌpaekaʻa Road from May 13 to May 18 in Wailua
-Souza Place, Aliali Road, Sadoyama Road, Steven Road, Yamanoha Road, and Malu Road, from May 19 to May 24 in Kapa‘a
-Alenae Street and Akoa Street on May 25 in Kapa‘a

One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained. Flaggers will be positioned to assist motorists during these closures.
