Road Resurfacing Work Scheduled in Wailua, Kapa‘a

Portions of Wailua and Kapa‘a will be closed next week to allow Maui Kupono Builders to conduct road resurfacing work from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Road work is scheduled for the following areas:

• Kamokila Road, Manako Place, and Ulana Road on May 3 in Wailua.
• Kihapai Street on May 4 in Wailua.
• Eggerking Road, Nanehai Place, and Kaokolo Place on May 5 in Wailua.
• Papaloa Road from May 6 to May 7 in Kapa‘a.

One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained. Flaggers will be positioned to assist motorists during these closures. Motorists are advised to make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations.
