113 New Cases Statewide

The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 113 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday. The statewide total is now 32,580. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
No new cases of the virus were identified on the Kaua‘i Sunday, per DOH statistics. The state’s two-week average is 91 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.6%.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 24,980
Maui: 3,422
Hawai‘i: 2,703
Kaua‘i: 269
Lana‘i: 111
Moloka‘i: 37
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,058
A total of 2,147 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 483 have died.
