100 New Cases Statewide

The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 122 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday. The statewide total is now 31,924.

Three new cases of the virus were identified on Kaua‘i Sunday, per DOH statistics. The state’s two-week average is 75 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.4%.

A DOH map that tracks cases by district across all islands can be accessed on the department’s website.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

O‘ahu: 24,538
Maui: 3,322
Hawai‘i: 2,674
Kaua‘i: 210
Lana‘i: 111
Moloka‘i: 37
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,034

A total of 2,103 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 478 people have died.
