Wanted Wailua Man Located, Held on $161K Bail

A Wailua man wanted on several criminal warrants was taken into custody by Kaua‘i Police Department on Thursday, April 22.

Twenty-three-year-old Ezekiel Bagano failed to appear in court on several dates for charges associated with criminal property damage. Outstanding warrants totaled $161,600.

“The arrest of Ezekiel Bagano was a top priority in keeping our community safe,” said Kaua‘i Police Assistant Chief Bryson Ponce. “I thank our officers, those on-duty and off, and the entire community for working together to bring this man into custody as quickly as possible.”

Bagano is being held in the police cellblock with bail set at $161,600. Bagano is scheduled to appear in District Court today,  April 23, in addition to two separate appearances in Circuit Court on Monday.
