COVID Cases See Statewide Uptick Thursday

The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 98 new cases of coronavirus Thursday, raising the statewide total to 31,075. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.

The state’s two-week average is 82 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.6%. A DOH map that tracks cases by district across all islands can be accessed on the state’s website.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

O‘ahu: 23,928
Maui: 3,188
Hawai‘i: 2,618
Kaua‘i: 199
Lana‘i: 111
Moloka‘i: 35
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 996

A total of 2,067 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 473 people have died.

The state had administered 1,007,966 doses of various coronavirus vaccines as of Thursday.
