Water Service Shutdown Scheduled for Mainline Valve Replacement in Hanapēpē

A water service shutdown scheduled for a portion of Puolo Road; near the intersection of Hanapēpē Road to Kaumuali’i Highway, and includes approximately four customers on Kaumuali’i Highway in Hanapēpē.  Water service will be turned off on Tuesday, April 13 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting.

The water service shutdown is necessary in order to replace a four-inch mainline valve on Puolo Road. 

Customers located in the affected service area are advised to prepare for the service shutdown by taking the following steps:

·Store water to meet your needs until water service is restored.

·Notify neighbors, family and friends of the water service shutdown.

·Those with faulty water heaters should ensure that their water heaters do not empty.

·Businesses should prepare accordingly for the service shutdown.
