DOH Identifies 95 New COVID Cases Monday, as Statewide Numbers Hover Near Triple-Digits Daily

The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 95 new cases of coronavirus Monday, raising the statewide total to 30,228. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.

The state’s two-week average is 97 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.8%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

O‘ahu: 23,388
Maui: 2,991
Hawai‘i: 2,539
Kaua‘i: 196
Lana‘i: 111
Moloka‘i: 34
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 969

A total of 2,012 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 467 people have died.

To date, 674,923 vaccination shots have been administered statewide.
