Hanapēpē Woman Arrested After KPD Vehicle Search Leads to Discovery of Drugs

The discovery of drugs during a search of a vehicle led to the arrest of a Hanapēpē woman.

Kaua‘i Police Vice Section executed search warrants on 47-year-old Ronette Santiago’s car on March 10. During the search, police recovered approximately 37.5 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of $9,500 and $1,284 in US currency.

Santiago was arrested for first-degree promoting a dangerous drug. She was booked and released pending investigation.
