Search Warrant Executed on Līhuʿe Home Yields Drugs, 2 Arrests

A search warrant executed on a Līhuʿe home yielded two arrests after the discovery of heroin, methamphetamine and $7,000 in cash.

Kauaʽi Police Department’s vice section responded to the home on March 4 where two 51-year-old Līhuʿe men, Alika White and Darin Kimmel reside. During the search of the residence, officers found approximately 35.9 grams of heroin with a street value worth around $9,000, as well as 0.6 grams of methamphetamine and $7,060 in US currency.

White and Kimmel were taken into custody. White was arrested for first-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug.

Kimmel was arrested on suspicion of third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug.

Both men were booked and released pending further investigation.
