The Department of Public Works is announcing that GP Maintenance Solutions will be conducting roadwork in Kapa‘a on weekdays from March 8-22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

Work will be scheduled on Ihilani, Olopua, Laukea and Makaloa Streets. The scope of work is seal coating the roadways.

There will be road closures during the seal coating. No parking will be allowed on the road or road shoulders. No vehicle access on the roadway or grassy shoulders. No walking on wet seal coat material. No vehicle entering or exiting until the seal coat is dry and the road reopened. The work zone will be coned off to prevent anyone from driving or stepping on wet materials.

See the maps below for specific locations and dates. Be on the lookout for Road Work signs as this is a good indication that work is in the area. No parking on the road shoulders or roads within the work zones will be allowed and any vehicle left in the work zone after 7:30 a.m. will be towed away at the driver’s/owner’s expense.
