Water Service Shutdown Scheduled in Kīlauea

The Department of Water (DOW) reminds customers of the water service shutdown scheduled for water main improvements on Anini Road in Kīlauea on Thursday, Feb. 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting.

Customers located on Anini Road should prepare for the service shutdown by taking the following steps:

·Store enough water to meet your needs until water service can be restored.
·Notify neighbors, tenants, family and friends of the water service shutdown.
·Those with faulty water heaters should ensure that their heaters do not empty.
