Update: Portion of Kūhiō Highway Reopens for Travel

Kūhiō Highway in the vicinity of the Hanalei Bridge is now open to one lane of alternating traffic. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and allow for extra travel time as traffic may be slow-going.
This section of the highway was closed due to flooding. A flash flood watch remains in effect until tomorrow afternoon.
