Roadwork Scheduled in Kapa‘a Starting Feb. 8

Roadwork is scheduled in Kapa‘a starting Feb. 8.

According to the Department of Public Works, work is scheduled on Nunu Road, Pelehu Road, and Iiwi Road The scope of work includes grass cutting and weed control. There will be no road closures during the grass cutting and weed control.

Crews will be out on weekdays from Feb. 8-19 starting at 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting. There will be no work on Feb. 15 in observance of Presidents Day.

No parking will be allowed on the road or road shoulders.

The map above notes specific locations and dates for the work. Be on the lookout for Road Work signs as this is a good indication that work is in the area. No parking on the road shoulders or roads within the work zones will be allowed and any vehicle left in the work zone after 7:30 a.m. will be towed away at the driver’s/owner’s expense. Contact the Kaua‘i Police Department at 808-241-1711 for towed vehicles.
