New Year’s Day County Closures

In observance of New Year’s Day, county offices will be closed on Jan. 1, along with all refuse transfer stations and the Kekaha Landfill.

In addition, the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools, the Wailua Golf Course, HI5 bottle redemption, and Puhi Metals Recycling Center will be closed.

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule. For more information, visit www.kauai.gov/transportation, or call 808-246-8110.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Monday, Jan. 4.
