2020-21 Property Taxes Due Date Approaches

The extended deadline for the first installment of real property taxes for the 2020-2021 tax year is due Nov. 18.

Payments can be made online at https://kauairpt.ehawaii.gov, by mail, in person, or at a drop box located outside the Kapulē Building at the Līhu‘e Civic Center. The online convenience fee is currently waived, so county officials are encouraging taxpayers to use the link for the payment online.

Failure to pay real property taxes in full by Nov. 18 results in a 10% penalty, as well as 12% interest per year.
