A tsunami advisory issued Monday afternoon for the Hawaiian Islands has been canceled.
According to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, the advisory was issued after a 7.5-magnitude earthquake that struck the vicinity of the Aleutian Islands in Alaska.
The advisory was canceled Monday night.
