Fire Crews Snuff Out 2 Small Brush Fires in Anahola

No injuries were reported after Kaua‘i firefighters extinguished two brush fires that broke out in Anahola on Friday evening.

Crews responded to the blazes, located east of the Anahola solar farms near Kūhiō Highway, at approximately 7:20 p.m. The flames from the brush fires were quickly snuffed out with firefighters clearing the scene at approximately 7:40 p.m.

Approximately two acres were scorched and no structures were threatened. The cause of the fires are under investigation.
