Road Work Scheduled in Po‘ipū

Portions of Kaheka, Maulili, Pu‘uholo, and Ho‘ona roads, including Ho‘ona Road spur, will be closed on Sept. 18, Sept. 21, and Sept. 22, to allow Maui Kupono Builders to conduct road reconstruction work.

Portions of these roads will be closed during work hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on the following schedule:

·Sept. 18 – Kaheka Road, Maulili Road, and Pu‘uholo Road;
·Sept. 21 – Ho‘ona Road; and
·Sept. 22 – Ho‘ona Road, including Ho‘ona Road spur.

One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained, and flaggers will be positioned to assist motorists during these closures.

All work is weather permitting and any changes to this schedule will be announced. The public is advised to make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes, and allow for additional travel time.
