The County Transportation Agency is announcing that effective Sept. 16 Kaua‘i Bus drivers will no longer be providing face coverings to passengers.

“As a reminder for everyone’s health and safety, The Kaua‘i Bus is for essential trips only, and users are required to use face coverings on the bus and while waiting near others at bus stops,” said Mayor Derek S. K. Kawakami.

While on The Kaua‘I Bus, passengers are to observe COVID-19 safety protocols.

Up-to-date bus schedules and additional information can be found online at the County of Kaua‘i and the Kaua‘i Bus Facebook pages or at 808-246-8110.
