Maintenance Work on Kaumualiʻi Highway to Start Sept. 8

Maintenance Work on Kaumualiʻi Highway in Waimea is slated to begin next week.

The work will start Sept. 8 and go till Sept. 10. The maintenance will be performed on the westbound lane of Kaumualiʻi Highway between Ola and Huakai Roads.

Traffic will be modified, one area at a time, from 2-7 p.m. on Sept. 8 and 10, weather permitting. Flaggers will be used to direct traffic through the work area. Motorists should drive with caution, expect delays and adjust their travel times as needed.
