Kaua‘i Holiday Closures

 In observance of Labor Day, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Sept. 7, along with all refuse transfer stations.

Because the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools are normally closed on Mondays, pool staff will observe the holiday on Sept. 8.

The Kekaha Landfill will be open from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for residents and businesses. In addition, Puhi Metals Recycling Center will be closed on Labor Day, as well as all HI5 Recycling locations. The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.

Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume on Sept. 8.
