Customers are advised to prepare for the water service shutdown by taking the following steps:

-Store enough water to meet your needs.
-Notify family, neighbors, friends of the scheduled water service shutdown.
-Those with faulty water heaters should ensure that their water heater does not empty.
-Businesses should make necessary arrangements prior to and during the service shutdown.

A trailer-mounted water tank containing potable water will be available at the intersection of Kona Road and Koula Road. Customers must bring their own containers to fill up if needed.

Door-to-door notices were delivered to customers located in the affected service area on Friday.
