Wi-Fi now available on The Kaua‘i Bus
Free public Wi-Fi is now available onboard The Kaua‘i Bus.
“In an effort to modernize our service and bring digital equity to the community, the majority of our fleet has been outfitted with Wi-Fi access points,” said Mayor Derek S. K. Kawakami. “The remainder of our fleet will be outfitted as vehicles are replaced later this year.”
There will be a Wi-Fi decal on the passenger door of the bus to indicate that there is Wi-Fi available onboard. Currently Wi-Fi is available with the password: “kauaibus.” However, in the coming weeks Wi-Fi will be made available without the requirement for a password.
Bus passengers are to observe COVID-19 safety protocols, which include wearing face coverings and practicing social distancing measures.
