County Offices to Close in Observance of Statehood Day

County offices will be closed Aug. 21 in observance of Statehood Day.

Refuse stations, the Kekaha Landfill, as well as the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools will also be closed along with Puhi Metals Recycling Center and all HI5 Recycling locations except for the Kapa‘a and Kīlauea redemption centers operated by Kaua‘i Community Recycling Services (KCRS).

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.

Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume on Aug. 24. For more information on normal pool hours, visit the Department of Parks and Recreation website, or call 808-241-4460.
