Night Construction at Kapaia Sewage Pump Station Starts Tonight

Night construction work at the Wastewater Management Division’s Kapaia Sewage Pump Station (SPS), located at the intersection of Kūhiō Highway and Ma‘alo Road, starts tonight.

The work is part of a construction project to rehabilitate and upgrade the Hanamā‘ulu and Kapaia SPSs. The work starts at 9 p.m. and goes till 6 a.m. on Friday, weather permitting. Two-way traffic will be maintained on Kūhiō Highway and Ma‘alo Road. Motorists should drive with caution, expect delays, and adjust their travel times as needed.
