Customers Advised of Upcoming Water Main Shutoff in Princeville

Princeville Utilities Company, Inc., will be turning off water on Tuesday to complete repairs to a water main line break.

Princeville and surrounding communities should expect the shutoff between 9 p.m. to 1 p.m. The utility company states they will flush the water mains thoroughly after the repair, however, it is possible that some air or sediment may remain in the system.

“When you turn on your water again after water service is restored, please allow your water to run until it is clear to ensure flushing of any air or sediment from your plumbing,” PUCI states.

Customers who experience problems with their water service after it’s been restored is asked to call the PUCI administration office at 808-826-6100.
