Power Restored in Hanapēpē

The Hanapēpē refuse transfer station is now fully operational after a short power outage today.
Trash was not being accepted at the transfer station due to electrical issues, Kaua‘i County officials reported this morning. Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative responded to the scene and worked to restore power to the station as well as affected customers.
