Lane closure scheduled for Lāwa‘i roadway

Road resurfacing work will continue this week in Lāwa‘i, causing one lane of a portion of Iwipo‘o Road to be closed.

The closure is scheduled from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Nov. 14-16 between Kōloa Road and Thronas Concrete, weather permitting. One lane will remain open to accommodate alternating traffic in both directions.

During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be directing traffic.

Motorists should make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary closure, use alternate routes and allow extra time to get to destinations.
