Summer Swim Registration Takes Place Today in Kapa‘a, Waimea

Registration for summer swim classes takes place May 21 at 3 p.m. at the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools. The Kapa‘a swimming pool is located on 4470 Kou Street in Kapa‘a. The Waimea swimming pool is located at 9678 Haiki Road in Waimea.

The program is open to youngsters, ages 5 to 11. Enrollment is limited to the first 20 students per class and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Classes will be held on the following dates:

· Beginner class, session 1: June 2 to July 1; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

o Class 1 is 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

o Class 2 is 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

o Graduation is July 2, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

· Beginner class, session 2: July 7 to July 29; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

o Graduation is July 30, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

· Advanced class, session 2: July 7 to July 29; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

o Class is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
