Kaua‘i Resource Center to Close Early

The county Department of Public Works on Tuesday announced an upcoming schedule change for the Kaua‘i Resource Center.

Because of staffing issues, the resource center will close early two days during the next week. The KRC will close at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, and at 3:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14.

The Kaua‘i Resource Center regularly operates from 7:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on weekdays.

There will be no impact on the HI5 redemption center operated by Reynolds Recycling or services at the Līhu‘e refuse transfer station.

The KRC is located at 3460 Ahukini Road in Līhu‘e.
