Lane closures for Ōma‘o Road Scheduled Jan. 10-14

Road repaving work is scheduled from Jan. 10-14, along portions of Ōma‘o Road near the Kaumuali‘i Highway intersection, The Department of Public Works and its contractor Maui Kupuno Builders stated.

The public shall be advised of lane closures and one-way traffic along Ōma‘o Road from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weekdays only.

Ōma‘o Road will be closed at Kōloa Road to all northbound traffic. Only southbound traffic from Kaumuali‘i Highway will be allowed through the work zone.

Signs and flaggers will be positioned along the closure to direct traffic through the work zone. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work area.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary closures and adjusted traffic flow, use alternate routes, and allow for extra time to get to destinations.

All work is weather permitting, and the schedule is subject to changes.
