Fireworks Permit Sales to Close This Afternoon

Due to the large volume of fireworks permits issued, officials are closing permit sales by the close of business today, Dec. 29.

For those with fireworks permits, you may redeem them at the following locations to purchase firecrackers:

• Pacific Fireworks, Līhu‘e
• Walmart (tent), Līhu‘e
• Longs, Kukui Grove
• Times, Kukui Grove
• Longs, Kapa‘a
• Big Save, Kapa‘a
• Foodland, Princeville
