The Kauaʻi Climate Action Coalition is seeking volunteers to help reestablish the native coastal forest in the Makauwahi Cave Reserve on Kauaʻi’s South Shore.

The “Reforest Hawaiʻi, Capture the Carbon” event on March 19 begins at 7:30 a.m. Volunteers should gather at Anne Knudsen Park in Kōloa, where car-pooling will take place.
