The helicopter flew the woman to Princeville Airport, arriving around 4 p.m. She was treated by paramedics, who transport her to Wilcox Medical Center in Līhuʻe. She was in stable condition, according to radio communication.

It is the third rescue of a hiker on Kauaʻi trails in four days. On Friday, a female hiker was rescued by crews using special rough terrain transport equipment after being found about 1,000 yards below the popular Hoʻopiʻi hiking trails second falls. The bad weather made an airlift not possible

And on Saturday, a 64-year-old female hiker who sustained a leg injury on Kauai’s Sleeping Giant (Nounou) hiking trail was lifted out of the area by a helicopter.
